About The Mayville-Schmitt Family Tree
This family tree is never complete and I'm always searching for new information. If you
have
any additions, corrections or pictures, please feel free to contact me using the link above
(the "guest book" feature is NOT a good way to reach me, as I do not receive notifications
when
it is signed, and thus never see it).
Currently, I have some brick walls I've been working on. Those surnames are Walsh, Hurst,
Tice, Diebold, Walter, Hess, Hammel, and Liebenow (in addition to quite a few others). If
you have any information about any of these families, please contact me.
I am very interested in any Stark/Starck information and photos that others may be willing
to share. I have done a lot of work trying to track the different Starck lines which
originated in Orenhofen, Trier, Germany, and ended up in America. As such, there are over
300 Starks in my genealogy here. For simplicity of searching (because different lines
changed spellings & others not), I have entered all in as Stark. It is important to note
that there may be specific spelling differences which are important to each individual
family. As such, if there were to ever be a formal publication of the Stark family
genealogy, I will stick to individual spellings as best as possible.
